Bhumi Learned the Importance of Truth
Those who walk on the path of truth find real happiness and success.

Story
Eight-year-old Bhumi was a smart and kind girl, but her parents noticed a change in her behaviour had started to change. She began lying about small things and started disrespecting her parents and teachers.
Her younger brother, Kush, soon began to imitate her behaviour, which made their parents very worried. They eventually discovered the reason behind this change — Bhumi had made some new friends who often lied and treated others badly.
Day by day, Bhumi’s behaviour became worse.
One day, Bhumi crossed her limits; her teacher caught her cheating during an exam.

The teacher took her to the principal’s office. The principal scolded her first, then gently explained the difference between right and wrong.
Bhumi felt very ashamed in front of everyone. She realised how much harm lying and taking the wrong path could cause.
Her mother comforted her and said, “We all make mistakes sometimes, but being wise means correcting them in time and always standing with the truth.”
She added, “Let’s pray together and ask God to give us wisdom so we always walk on the path of truth and goodness.”

Bhumi thanked her mother and promised that she would never lie again and would always follow the path of truth.
