Raskhan, also known as Sayyid Ibrahim, was a great poet and a devoted follower of Shri Krishna. He lived during the 16th century and was born in a Muslim family, but became a great devotee of Bhagwan Krishna. His poems and Doha’s were written in Braj Bhasha, the language spoken in Vrindavan, where Shri Krishna grew up.
Raskhan's poems are filled with love for Krishna. He believed that Krishna’s love is so special that it is for everyone, no matter who they are.
myNachiketa presents 8 popular Raskhan ke Dohe for children to read, learn, and understand the immense love and devotion of Shri Krishna through simple and inspiring words.

Meaning
Love is what God is made of, and God is the true form of love. Just like the sun and its rays are part of each other, love and God are always connected. When love and God come together, they cannot be seen as different—they become one.
Dear children, love and God are connected just like a flower and its fragrance; love brings us closer to God.

Meaning
Everyone talks about “love, love”—it sounds easy and sweet. But true, deep love is tough: once you’re in it, you can’t just walk away. Your body keeps living, your heart keeps beating, but it’s as if that love has quietly captured your life.
Dear children, it’s easy to say “I love you,” but real love means you care for someone even when it’s hard. When you truly love someone (a friend, a pet, or a family member), you stick by them, you help them, share with them, and forgive them if they make mistakes.
